Hyperbaric Research Has Proven Its Benefits In Treating Aching Bladders

Painful Bladder which results out of cysts formed in the intestine is difficult to treat. Experts who have been studying and treating people with intestinal cystitis have opined that there are as such no curing strategies for the same. Recently these researchers went on to study the effects of hyperbaric treatments conducted on individuals suffering from painful syndrome. They had arranged for a Hyperbaric Research in which 11 individuals with painful bladder syndromes were selected randomly. These patients were given hyperbaric oxygen therapy at 2.0 ATA. The treatment continued for around 4 weeks and on a 60 minutes basis for 5 days.
On receiving oxygen therapy the patients started showing signs of improvements. The urgency scale and pain in the pelvic started to reduce. Urination frequency was also lowered at a basic level. However two individuals were affected with exudative otitis and dysfunction of the Eustachian tube after receiving HBOT. However, the percentage of individuals having improved their conditions on receiving O2 is more than those who have been affected by the same.
